THALASSA Marine research participated in the Science Festival organized by the University of Côte d’Azur on the Castle hill of Nice city (4-6 October 2019). These events are a great opportunity to raise awaraness for conservation issues to students visiting the festival and also to the general public. This year we set up small aquariums and touch tanks with marine organisms populating Côte d’Azur coastal habitats (crustaceans, echinoderms, brown, red and green algae and marine sponges). All organisms were then released into their natural environment.
